Day 1: Begin your journey with a pick-up and transfer to the enchanting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

On the first day of your 6 Days Uganda Gorillas and wildlife Safari, a representative from Adventure In The Wild Safaris will greet you based on your location. They will provide an overview of the safari before embarking on a brief tour of Kigali. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore art and craft centers, the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, Kimironko Market, and more. Following the city tour, your expedition to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will commence, traversing the scenic routes through the Cyanika border in Kisoro or the Katuna border in Kabale. As you journey along, you will savor a delightful lunch while soaking in the breathtaking vistas of the undulating hills, picturesque scenery, Kigezi hills, and lush plantations, among other wonders. As you step into Bwindi impenetrable national park, you will settle into the lodge for a delightful evening of relaxation, savoring dinner and preparing for an exciting night ahead.

Day 2: Embarking on an exhilarating journey to trek gorillas in Bwindi National Park

Exploring the wild with gorillas,

On the second day of your thrilling 6 Days Uganda Gorillas and wildlife Safari, you will enjoy an early breakfast, pack your lunch, and rendezvous with your driver guide to head to the park headquarters for the gorilla trekking briefing. Following the briefing, you will embark on a trek through the jungle alongside a seasoned park guide, with the journey lasting anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours based on the chosen location. While trekking through Bwindi National Park, you will encounter a variety of wildlife species. Once the mountain gorillas are found, you will have the chance to spend an hour in their natural habitat, allowing you to observe their behaviors and habits. You will witness them feeding, nursing, playing, and grooming their young, capturing stunning moments to share with others after your adventure.

After an hour spent with the mountain gorillas, you will make your way back to the starting point, where you will receive a certificate for your participation in gorilla trekking. Later, you will reunite with your driver guide to head back to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Following breakfast on the third day of your 6 Days Uganda Gorillas and wildlife Safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet your driver guide to embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. During your journey, you will pause in the Ishasha sector, where you can witness the remarkable sight of tree-climbing lions resting on the branches of acacia and fig trees, alongside a variety of other wildlife such as topi, waterbucks, elephants, and buffaloes. Following the game drive in the Ishasha sector, you will enjoy a delightful lunch on the way before continuing your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, you will embark on a journey to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Embark on a thrilling morning game drive and engage in an exhilarating lion tracking experience, followed by a serene afternoon boat cruise and a transfer to the enchanting Kibale Forest National Park.

Following a hearty breakfast on the fourth day of your 6 Days Uganda Gorillas and wildlife Safari, you will rendezvous with your driver guide for an exhilarating morning game drive. This adventure will offer you the chance to encounter majestic animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, giant forest hogs, and a variety of bird species, among others. After the exhilarating game drive, you will journey back to the lodge for a delightful lunch.

Set sail on a thrilling journey,

After lunch, you will embark on an exhilarating boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, a stunning waterway that links Lake George and Lake Edward. The scheduled boat cruise begins at 2:00pm and lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours. During this exciting journey, you will glide past a large gathering of hippos and crocodiles in the water, while on the shores of the lake, you may spot elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and warthogs. You will also have the chance to observe various bird species and watch fishermen preparing their gear, among other captivating sights.

Following the boat cruise, you will rendezvous with your driver guide for a transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. Your journey will offer stunning vistas of the crater lakes and lush tea plantations, and once you arrive, you will settle into the lodge for a delightful dinner and a cozy overnight stay.

Day 5: Embark on an exhilarating chimpanzee trek and explore the enchanting Bigodi swamp walk.

Following a hearty breakfast on the fourth day of your 6 Days Uganda Gorillas and wildlife Safari, you will rendezvous with your driver guide to head to the park headquarters for an exciting briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Following the briefing, you will embark on a trek through the forest, which can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours, depending on the whereabouts of the chimpanzees. These fascinating creatures enjoy roaming in search of food, particularly during the dry season. While trekking, you will encounter a variety of primates, diverse bird species, and an array of animals and plants, among other wonders. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in their natural environment for an hour. This experience allows you to observe their behaviors and habits, witness them as they feed, play, engage in social interactions, hunt, mate, and capture unforgettable moments through photos and recordings. Following your hour spent with the chimpanzees, you will make your way back to the park headquarters to reunite with your driver guide, who will take you back to the lodge for a delightful lunch.

Exploring the Bigodi swamp

After lunch, you will unwind at the lodge before embarking on an exciting nature walk in Bigodi swamp. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe a variety of bird species, primates, and animals such as sitatungas, along with diverse plant and tree species. Following the swamp walk, you will head back to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a night filled with possibilities.

Day 6: Setting off for Kigali

On the final day of your 6 Days Uganda Gorillas and wildlife Safari, you will enjoy a leisurely breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet your driver guide to embark on the journey back to Kigali, stopping for lunch along the way. Upon arrival, your driver guide will take you to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any recommended location.
