Day 01: Begin your journey with a pick-up from Kampala/Entebbe and embark on a transfer to the enchanting Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

On this day, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe or from Entebbe Airport to embark on your 5 Days Uganda Gorillas and Chimps Safari. Day 02: Embark on an exhilarating journey to track gorillas in Bwindi.

Following a hearty breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on a drive to the park headquarters, where the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides will provide an exciting briefing and assign you to a gorilla family group for your trek that day. Once your group of 8 is confirmed, the 2 ranger guides will take you deep into the dense, mysterious forest to begin your quest for the endangered rare species of Mountain Gorillas. The quest for the gorillas perpetually unfolds from the very spot they were spotted the day before. When you arrive at the habitat of these renowned species, you will have just one hour to engage with them, and it is essential to maintain utmost silence in the presence of these magnificent Gorillas. Feel free to capture moments and more.

Gorilla tracking can occasionally be challenging, influenced by the day’s trek, which is typically shaped by the weather and the gorillas’ movements in the forest. However, due to the meticulous organization of the activity, you have a 99% chance of encountering the gorillas during your adventure. The journey is led by skilled trackers who keep a close watch on the gorillas’ movements throughout the day in the forest. With their expertise, they can pinpoint where the gorillas nested the previous night, and that is where your search begins. Day 03: Journey to Kibale Forest National Park

Embark on a thrilling morning game drive through the Mweya Peninsula with all your essentials packed in the car. If you are not going on a game drive, consider exploring the Katwe Salt Lakes before heading to Kibale National Park, making sure to stop for lunch along the way to the park. Upon arrival, you will embark on a nature walk through the Bigodi Swamp, where you will encounter incredible sights of the resident monkeys and birds. Kibale Forest National Park boasts 13 species of primates and over 335 bird species, attracting enthusiasts of both birds and primates alike.

Day 04: Embark on a thrilling journey of Chimpanzee Tracking and explore the enchanting Bigodi wetland walk.

Afterward, you will enjoy an early breakfast before being led to the Kanyanchu head offices for a briefing about the exciting track you’ll embark on in just a few hours. Your journey begins with tracking chimpanzees, but the excitement does not stop there. You will encounter 12 other fascinating primate species, including vervet monkeys, gray-cheeked mangabeys, and baboons.
