Day 1: Begin your journey with a pick-up from Kigali and embark on a transfer to the enchanting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On the first day of your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla tour from Kigali, our representative will greet you based on your location in Kigali. They will provide a briefing about the journey ahead before embarking on the exciting trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive spans approximately 3 to 4 hours, leading you through the scenic Cyanka border in Kisoro or the picturesque Katuna border in Kabale. As you journey along, you will savor a delightful lunch while taking in the breathtaking vistas of rolling hills, picturesque countryside, and charming terraced farmlands, among other wonders. As you step into the park, your journey leads you to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a night filled with possibilities.
Day 2: Embark on an exhilarating journey through Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking, followed by a departure to Kigali.
Following a hearty breakfast on the second day of your thrilling 3 Days Uganda Gorilla tour from Kigali, you will check out of the lodge, grab your packed lunch, and rendezvous with your driver guide. Together, you will head to the park headquarters for an exciting briefing on the rules, regulations, and what to expect during your gorilla trekking adventure. Following the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family to explore and paired with a park guide who is well-versed in the ways of the gorillas and familiar with the jungle trails. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location, as they often roam in search of food. While trekking, you will encounter a variety of wildlife, including forest elephants, buffaloes, and various primates such as l’hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and chimpanzees. You will also spot different bird species like the African harrier hawk, crowned hornbill, African green pigeon, and blue-headed sunbird, among others. As you arrive, you will embark on a drive to the lodge where a delightful dinner awaits, followed by a cozy overnight stay.
Day 3: Embark on a thrilling boat cruise before heading off to Kigali
Following a hearty breakfast on the final day of your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla tour from Kigali, you will rendezvous with your driver guide for an exhilarating boat cruise or canoe ride on Uganda’s deepest lake. Here, you will have the chance to discover some of the 29 islands, observe a variety of bird species and wildlife, take in stunning views of the terraced farmlands, and appreciate the breathtaking scenery.
