Day 1: Touch down in Entebbe and journey to Kampala
Welcome to Uganda, a land brimming with excitement and exploration. Your guide will meet you and take you to your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe, where you can relax and recharge before embarking on your exciting journey through Uganda. If you arrive early, we suggest embarking on a brief exploration of the city center, where you can visit the independence monument and discover how Uganda gained its freedom from British imperialists on 9th October 1962.

Day 2: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park
Set off from Kampala city after breakfast, accompanied by your guide, as you journey to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest conservation area in Uganda. During the 5-hour journey, you will make regular stops, including a visit to the Ziwa rhino sanctuary, where you can encounter 20 white rhinos along the route to Masindi. Prepare for an exhilarating experience as you embark on a guided trek to track rhinos on foot alongside a knowledgeable ranger, followed by a delightful lunch. After lunch, venture into the park, and before checking into your lodge, embark on a hike to the summit of Murchison Falls for breathtaking views of the Nile. A meal and a night of exploration.

Day 3: Exciting game drive and thrilling boat cruise – Murchison Falls National Park
At 06:30am, after enjoying a cup of coffee, you will embark on an exhilarating game drive with a ranger to discover the wildlife of Murchison Falls, including herds of elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob, lions, giraffes, hyenas, and topi. Return to the lodge in time to enjoy a hearty breakfast. After lunch, you will embark on an exciting journey to Paara, where you can relish a 3-hour boat cruise on the majestic River Nile. This remarkable river, the longest in the world, is home to a rich array of wildlife, including hippos, Nile crocodiles, and an assortment of water birds like giant kingfishers and fish eagles.

Day 4: Journey to Kibale Forest National Park
Journey from Murchison to Kibale Forest National Park, the renowned primate capital of the world, where you can encounter 13 species of primates, including the fascinating chimpanzees. The journey takes about 6-7 hours through breathtaking rift valley landscapes, with a delightful stop in Fort Portal town for lunch. After lunch, you will embark on a journey to your accommodation in Kibale for dinner and an overnight stay.

At 08am, set off on an exhilarating hike with guides for a 2-5 hour chimp tracking adventure. Discover other fascinating primates you might come across, such as the grey checked mangabay and the red tailed monkey.
Return to the lodge for a midday meal. Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary, an eco tourism destination run by the local community. Start your day with a cup of coffee at 06:30am, then embark on an exhilarating game drive with a ranger to seek out majestic mammals like elephants, buffaloes, and lions, alongside graceful antelopes such as Uganda kob and topi. Make your way back to the lodge to enjoy a hearty breakfast that awaits you. After breakfast, you embark on another thrilling game drive toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Along the way, you pause in the Ishasha wilderness, where you might catch a glimpse of the remarkable tree-climbing lions that inhabit the area.
Known for being home to a significant population of the world’s mountain gorillas, Bwindi is a celebrated destination for gorilla tracking. Originating from the Lukiga language, “Bwindi” translates to a dark place. The Bwindi rainforest has remained pristine and unspoiled since the last ice age, which occurred 250,000 million years ago. Enjoy a delightful dinner followed by a cozy overnight stay at your selected lodge.

Day 8: Embarking on a thrilling journey with gorilla trekking and exploring the vibrant village life.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before making your way to the park center for an exciting briefing on the rules for encountering gorillas. The trek to find gorillas can be quite challenging, so it is a good idea to hire a porter to help carry your backpack. Depending on the location of the gorillas, you will have the opportunity to observe and capture their images for approximately one hour. If fortune smiles upon you, you might catch a glimpse of various primates, a multitude of bird species, and witness one of the planet’s most ancient ecosystems. Return for lunch at the lodge, and in the afternoon, embark on an exciting village walk through the communities. Explore the women’s craft center and come back for dinner and a night’s stay.

This adventure begins at 8 AM with a hike through the enchanting bamboo forest, reaching an altitude of 3,000 meters. You look forward to encountering the critically endangered golden monkeys in the bamboo. Following the trekking, you will journey to Lake Bunyonyi, arriving just in time for lunch, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

You will have the chance to experience the wonders of the wild in a way that goes beyond the usual game drive, as this time you will explore on foot. Depart from the lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala, enjoying a delightful lunch along the way.
