Your visit during the dry season could become the most memorable part of your park adventure.

Places to stay: Bush Lodge (Budget), Park View Safari Lodge (Mid-range), and Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury).

Following the creation of the magnificent East African Rift Valley, additional faulting took place on its floor, leading to the formation of this gorge. The forest within the Kyambura gorge boasts an astonishing array of birds and mammals. Chimpanzees steal the spotlight, yet visitors can also encounter hippos, elephants, a variety of birds, and smaller primates within the gorge.

Accommodation options include Bush Lodge for those seeking a budget-friendly experience, Park View Safari Lodge for a mid-range stay, and Mweya Safari Lodge for a touch of luxury.

Your office Guide will be ready to escort you back to the hotel for a delightful lunch and a chance to recharge. As the afternoon sun begins to dip, an exciting journey awaits you to meet the Batwa pygmies of Bwindi. The Batwa were the original inhabitants of the forests in Bwindi, Mgahinga, the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, and Virunga in Congo. Many found themselves driven from the forests, facing the challenges of modern life without compensation or adequate support. The nature walk will immerse you in the ancient ways of life and the challenges faced in adapting to the modern world beyond the forest.
