Tour Overview: 6-Day Private Tanzania Wildlife & Cultural Safari
This 6-day journey includes a unique cultural tourism stay in Mto wa Mbu and two days/1 night in Tarangire National Park. After that, spend one day and one night in Ngorongoro and three days and two nights in the Serengeti. For the second night, you will stay at Fig Tree resort, a low-cost resort with a private bathroom. For the next four nights, you will camp in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, with shared restrooms.

6-Day Private Tanzania Wildlife & Cultural Safari Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
We are starting our safari journey today! Following breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation by Adventure in the wild safaris tour driver/ guide who will then take you for two hours and twenty minutes’ drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is renowned for its vast herds of elephants and profusion of old baobab trees, which are the biggest trees in Africa. The vehicle’s open top will allow you to see the savanna, seasonal marshes, and Tarangire River, which is home to a wide variety of species, including giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, elephants, and a wide variety of birds. There is an amazing view from the picnic area! There, you will have your picnic lunch and watch some game before moving to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu (Cultural tour)
Get up early for a game drive at sunrise. Following breakfast, we will continue our wildlife drive in Tarangire before heading to Mto wa Mbu for lunch and cultural tourism. The afternoon will be devoted to exploring the area’s woods, waterfalls, artwork, rice plantations, banana farms, and native tribes. You have the option of taking a bicycle or walking tour. We will spend the night and dinner at Fig Tree Lodge.

Dy 3: Transfer to central Serengeti National Park
We will leave for the Serengeti after breakfast. As you go up the crater highlands into the expansive plains of the Serengeti, a lengthy, rough road will guarantee you four to five hours of amazing wildlife watching. Before we check into the park for an afternoon wildlife drive, we will have a picnic lunch at the Serengeti, Naabi Hill Gate. We will head to Seronera camping (Tumbili) for dinner and an overnight stay after witnessing the sunset.

Day 4: Explore Serengeti National Park
We are going to spend the entire day in the park today. We leave at dawn to begin our exploration, have breakfast at the campsite, pack a lunch, and then proceed on a full-day wildlife drive over the stunning Serengeti landscape in search of the Big Five. Large mammals are not the only animals found in the Serengeti; over 500 different bird species have been identified, from the black eagles that glide easily over the savannah to the enormous ostrich and strange secretary bird of the wide grassland. After we continue our hunt for animals in the Serengeti, we will head back to the campground for supper and an overnight stay around sunset.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands
In order to see the animals when they are most active, we will depart the campground early today (about 6:00 am) for a dawn game drive. After that, we will make a halt at a picnic area to have breakfast outside. The wildlife drive will continue, and at approximately midday, we will return to the camp for a cooked lunch before loading up the car and heading to Ngorongoro, where we will have supper and spend the night at Simba Campsite.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
With our packed breakfast, we will board the safari vehicle at 6:00am in the morning today and head down the crater. You can see nearly every type of East African animals here, including the endangered black rhino, and if we are lucky, we could even see one. With a surface size of 260 square kilometers (100 square miles) and a circumference of around 20 kilometers (12 miles), it will likely take us five to six hours to explore. After your final lunch with us at the campground, we will drive back to Arusha after climbing the crater. We anticipate returning to town between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.
