Tarangire is renowned for its vast herds of elephants and profusion of old baobab trees, which are the biggest trees in Africa. The vehicle’s open top will allow you to see the savanna, seasonal marshes, and Tarangire River, which is home to a wide variety of species, including giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, elephants, and a wide variety of birds. There is an amazing view from the picnic area! There, you will have your picnic lunch and watch some game before moving to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

We leave at dawn to begin our exploration, have breakfast at the campsite, pack a lunch, and then proceed on a full-day wildlife drive over the stunning Serengeti landscape in search of the Big Five. Large mammals are not the only animals found in the Serengeti; over 500 different bird species have been identified, from the black eagles that glide easily over the savannah to the enormous ostrich and strange secretary bird of the wide grassland. After we continue our hunt for animals in the Serengeti, we will head back to the campground for supper and an overnight stay around sunset.

With a surface size of 260 square kilometers (100 square miles) and a circumference of around 20 kilometers (12 miles), it will likely take us five to six hours to explore. After your final lunch with us at the campground, we will drive back to Arusha after climbing the crater. We anticipate returning to town between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.
