4-Day Group Tour to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro safari

You spend the entire day in Tarangire National Park on this safari. You will spend six hours on a crater tour in Ngorongoro and nearly two days in the Serengeti. The safari shows you Tanzania’s top attractions, including the Serengeti National Park, home of wildlife, the Ngorongoro Crater, commonly called the “Garden of Eden,” and Tarangire National Park, home of elephants.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

With a picnic lunch, head to Tarangire for a full-day wildlife drive in Tarangire National Park following an early breakfast. Eland, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and migratory wildebeest pack the diminished lagoons, while herds of up to 300 elephants scrounge the dry riverbed for other streams. Elephants call this national park home, and during the dry season, migrants reside here. We spend overnight at Lilac Campsite and eat dinner there.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Our driver-guide will take you from the camp/ hotel to Serengeti National Park following an early breakfast. Set off for the Serengeti’s breathtaking sky and boundless open grasslands. Go for a late-night game drive after enjoying the four-hour game drive. We will have dinner and spend the night at Seronera Campsite.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

Get up early for a game drive in Serengeti National Park, where you will have an opportunity to see lions, elephants, leopards, impala, gazelles, cheetahs, and possibly the wildebeest migration. After brunch, pack your bags and head to Ngorongoro, where you will drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro, arriving late at night. Spend the night and dinner at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, which is situated on the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Hotel

After an early breakfast, head straight to the crater bottom for a six-hour trip within the crater to witness the game. See the Big Five: buffalo, elephants, leopards, lions, and perhaps black rhinos. In the crater at the Ngoitoktok Spring, have a picnic lunch while observing baboons, giraffes, warthogs, hippopotami, and birds, among other large mammals. About six hours later, climb the crater rim and go to Arusha, stopping along the way to go on a game drive via Mto wa Mbu hamlet. We will drop you off at your Arusha hotel or the airport in the evening.
