Responsible tourism in Rwanda

One perfect symbol of this tranquility is gorilla tourism, as Rwanda is regarded by many wildlife experts as having one of the most remarkable conservation stories in the world. Rwanda stands out as a remarkable destination where you can safely encounter gorillas in their natural habitat. In collaboration with Uganda, the country has established specific guidelines to safeguard these magnificent creatures from the adverse effects of tourism.

The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International has consistently embraced a grand vision – recognizing the importance of safeguarding and uplifting the people of Rwanda, ensuring they benefit from tourism rather than suffer from its consequences.
