Additional option (additional fee): If you are up for it, you might think about embarking on a twin adventure—either a canoe trek for $60 or a trip to the cultural village for $20 to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of Rwanda. Otherwise, you will unwind—immersed in the experience.
Day 3: Exciting Golden Monkey Tracking and Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The golden monkeys inhabit the fringes of the park, nestled within the bamboo forests where the terrain is pleasantly level and inviting for exploration. Seek out the monkeys and trail behind them as they forage, observing their expert technique in selecting the tender bamboo leaves from the very top of the bamboo tree. They might also venture out of the park and into the potato fields. How they adore the potatoes!
After an exhilarating hour with the golden monkeys, you will head back to the trailhead and drive to the lodge for lunch. After that, you will make your way to the border, and once you have cleared it, you will continue on to Bwindi.
