The Vreugde Guest Farm, a recurrent recipient of the Hospitality Association of Namibia (HAN) Golden Award, embodies its name, which translates to pleasure or happiness, through its amiable family-operated service.  Situated in the Outjo District, it is about a 30-minute drive to Etosha National Park and serves as an ideal stopover while traversing the extensive landscapes of Namibia.

 Etosha is the essential wildlife destination in Namibia, with a massive white salt pan that encompasses over 20% of its 22,270 km² area and is even discernible from space.  The expansive terrain and limited flora provide exceptional wildlife observation, as four of the Big Five inhabit this region.  Guided tours are offered at the Guest Farm, while visitors preferring to remain nearby can partake in a brief tour of the operational cattle and sheep farm or explore the area while observing indigenous fauna and many bird species.
