 The designers of Olive Exclusive All Suite Hotel executed their vision with great enthusiasm.  Not the town center, which is merely minutes distant, but rather Stone Town.  The guesthouse, characterized by its minimalist elegance, represents a contemporary interpretation of Roman antiquity.  The ambiance, characterized by concrete bathrooms, screed floors, granite tiles, intricate iron furnishings, and accents of pristine white, is profoundly tranquil, bordering on somber.

 The striking, unembellished design encountered upon arrival persists throughout the 11 rooms, where the monochromatic simplicity directs focus to the inviting white cotton bedding. The open-plan basins and shower add a personal touch, while the air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar, and snack platter enhance comfort.

 Breakfast is served on the patio adjacent to the pool, which connects to a comfortable lounge and dining area.  The establishment no longer categorizes itself as a guesthouse; an à la carte meal is offered throughout the day from the expansive open-plan kitchen, with dinners provided upon request.
