The individualized experience at Madikwe Game Reserve
The Bush House, an owner-operated game lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve, is committed to delivering a memorable experience via attentive and personalized service. The lodge, converted from an antiquated farmhouse, emanates a casual ambiance akin to that of home.
The relatively obscure Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa, which is free from malaria, provides remarkable wildlife interactions and a Big 5 experience devoid of the crowds that inundate other reserves. The sole assemblages’ guests will encounter here are groups of elephants and other wildlife. An underground hide is reachable by a path in the lodge’s garden, enabling guests to observe elephants, buffalo, and rhinos at close range.
The lodge, featuring merely six en-suite rooms, provides a degree of isolation commensurate with its bespoke service. Four rooms possess private verandahs, one views the garden and waterhole, and another enjoys the tranquil sounds of a water feature. Enjoy the pool’s refreshing water under the warm sun, or dine beneath the stars.
