Sibuya River Camp

Sibuya River Camp : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information

Exquisitely remarkable safari locale in the Eastern Cape

The entrance to Sibuya Game Reserve is located in the holiday community of Kenton-on-Sea in the Eastern Cape.  Guests are gathered at the river mouth and assured a distinctive experience from the outset, with a tranquil thirty-minute boat journey along the Kariega River Estuary to the game reserve located nine kilometers upstream, which is the residence of Sibuya River Camp.

A combination of game drives, river cruises, guided bush walks, and exceptional birdwatching will enthrall adventurous spirits, while hammocks in the trees or a fishing line leisurely suspended in the water will appeal to those seeking relaxation.  Its proximity to the renowned holiday destination of Kenton-on-Sea offers access to the external environment if required.

The camp, featuring merely four tents, is optimal for families or private utilization.  The 75m² opulent tents, equipped with all-weather roofs, include an en-suite shower and an own terrace with views of the river or forest.  Play tents and rangers are available to engage children with insect and shrub excursions throughout the campsite.  Sibuya’s innovative chefs craft exceptional cuisine, and Boma evenings are savored beneath a starlit sky, accompanied by crackling log fires, culminating in marshmallow toasting.
