Sausage Tree Camp : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information

Bedouin-inspired tented encampment and Zambian hospitality

Sausage Tree Camp is situated along the banks of the Zambezi River, within the core of Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia.  The camp provides breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife observation through terrestrial and aquatic safaris.

The plentiful Zambezi offers a refuge for diverse animals and the distinctive chance to traverse the region on foot, by 4X4, or by boat.  Canoeing safaris are a favored option for traversing waterways that are also reachable by boat.  Tiger fishing, game drives, and bush walks are excellent methods to observe the wildlife of the Zambezi Valley, which includes several huge species such as elephants and lions.

Eight opulent, Bedouin-style tents are situated beneath the shade of Sausage and Mahogany trees, strategically spaced along the riverbank.  The seven Luxury Suites feature open-air showers, a lounge space, a bar, and a king-size bed with views of the private pool.  ‘Kigelia House’ is ideal for small parties or families, featuring two en-suite bedrooms divided by an open-plan living space that extends to a private balcony and pool.
