The River Club is located on the banks of the formidable Zambezi River, upstream from the roaring Victoria Falls.  The estate where this Edwardian-style lodge is situated is rich in history, originally established as a settler post before serving as a vacation retreat for royalty and Hollywood luminaries.  Guests can experience historical allure and five-star opulence.

Glide serenely downstream on a sunset voyage, encountering hippopotamuses, crocodiles, and occasional elephants.  Birdwatchers will revel in the observations of Schalow’s loerie, African finfoot, and African skimmer.  Victoria Falls, a renowned landmark, is located just a thirty-minute drive from the lodge, while Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park provides exceptional wildlife viewing chances.  The local village exhibits elements of African village life and permits visitors to experience traditional villages.

The lodge comprises 11 exclusive and expansive suites, each uniquely situated among trees along the Zambezi River, strategically oriented to capture every African sunset.  Every suite, from the River Suite to the Princess Mary Suite, includes an en-suite bathroom with a “loo with a view,” in addition to air conditioning, mosquito netting, and a mini-fridge.
