A renovated colonial residence, De Hoop  Opstal Manor House is located on the Garden Route and the Whale Route within De Hoop Nature Reserve.  Abundant vegetation along with seasonal floral fields creates stunning landscapes along the coastal reserve.  This magnificent mansion offers opulent living in proximity to nature.

When not studying the flora or seeing the whales, embark on a cruise, undertake a hike, traverse the well-marked routes on a mountain bike, or observe wildlife like as the Cape Mountain zebra and playful baboons.  The Manor House is in proximity to the tennis court, swimming pool, and boules courtyard, ensuring continuous recreational opportunities.

You are invited to rent either individual rooms in the home or the full Manor.  Enjoy complimentary breakfasts and evenings, while lunches may be arranged at the onsite Fig Tree Restaurant or prepared independently in the fully equipped kitchen of the Manor House.
