Translated to ‘the spot you don’t want to leave’ in Herero, Onguma Tented Camp will ensure tourists remain faithful to its appellation.  This sophisticated camp overlooks a waterhole within the 34,000-hectare Onguma Game Reserve adjacent to Etosha National Park.  In addition to wildlife drives on its own densely inhabited reserve, Onguma provides guests access to its prolific neighbor, ensuring an exceptional safari experience.

Onguma Game Reserve hosts a diverse range of animals, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, and hyenas, as well as over 300 bird species, which will undoubtedly thrill enthusiastic bird-watchers.  Commence a nocturnal drive at twilight and navigate off-road in search of predators hunting their prey.  Adjacent Etosha boasts four of the Big Five, while the Etosha pan is certain to captivate photography aficionados.

Onguma Tented Camp is a secluded safari locale featuring a central structure, a rim-flow pool, and seven tents positioned around a bustling waterhole approximately 60 meters distant.  Each tent is equipped with a patio and an en-suite bathroom featuring both indoor and outdoor showers, in addition to opulent baths.
