Mushara Lodge : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
Mushara Lodge sits on the eastern fringes of Namibia’s Etosha National area, making it the perfect starting point to see the wildlife-rich area. A peaceful space for visitors to escape to after a day of exploring the varied African terrain is created by an eclectic mix of contemporary comforts combined with traditional African art work.
The salt pan, the largest of its type in Africa, is the centre piece of the Etosha National Park. Promising great photographic chances as big herds of buffalo walk across its surface, its white crust of salt glistens in the heat of the day. Present among all the large cats are enormous quantities of plains wildlife and around 300 bird species. Animals come and go all day to drink at the waterholes, which are always buzzing with activity.
Arranged in a semi-circle around the pool area, the lodge comprises 18 roomy bungalows and rooms, including a family residence. While the triple room and family unit have complete en-suite bathrooms, all bathrooms are en-suite with a shower. Enjoy a drink by the campfire’s warmth and great meals cooked on site by the skilled culinary staff.
