Infinite waters and expansive skyscapes in the Okavango Delta
The Moremi Crossing camp is situated on the picturesque island of Ntswi, within the varied boundaries of the Moremi Game Reserve. This novel and entirely sustainable camp is encircled by the seasonal floodplains of the Okavango Delta and overlooks Chief’s Island, the largest island in the delta, renowned for its exceptional game-viewing opportunities.
Moremi Crossing provides walking safaris, mokoro excursions, and motorized boat safaris. An optimal site for avian observation, notable sightings have included Pel’s Fishing Owl and the Ground Hornbill. When not navigating the delta’s waterways, wildlife observation can occur from the camp’s shaded deck that overlooks the Boro River. The deck extends to a swimming pool, while the camp is situated amidst verdant palms and a variety of ancient ebony, mangosteen, sausage, and gigantic sycamore fig trees.
Sixteen luxury tents with private decks offering panoramic views of the floodplains and Chiefs Island, ideal for effortless wildlife observation. Each tent is erected and features a well-equipped en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. A Family Tent for two adults and two children, in addition to a Honeymoon Tent, is provided. Savor exquisite cuisine crafted by skilled chefs at the luxurious on-site dining area.
