Mashatu Tent Camp serves as an extension of the exquisite Mashatu Reserve.  Mashatu Reserve, located in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve of Botswana, encompasses 29,000 hectares of unspoiled wilderness and is recognized for its many landscapes and biomes, including grassy plains, rocky hills, and lush wetlands.

 he striking landscape creates an environment rich in fauna.  Perfect for the returning safari enthusiast, the reserve hosts three of the Big Five (leopard, lion, and elephant) among a diverse array of infrequently observed species, including aardwolf, African wildcat, and Kori bustard.  Morning and evening wildlife excursions are executed in open-topped cars, optimal for capturing photographs of landscapes, avian species, and challenging images of leopards resting in trees.

The eight tents at Mashatu Tent Camp are elevated above the ground and strategically positioned around the main lodge along a road that traverses dense bush and ancient trees.  The en-suite amenities are located outdoors, permitting a hot shower beneath the stars.  The rustic decor using dark wood, wicker, cream, and beige establishes a romantic atmosphere ideal for a honeymoon retreat.
