Machaba Camp, characterized by its subtle 1950s aesthetic, is situated within the game-abundant 180,000-hectare Khwai concession of the Okavango Delta, near to the Moremi Game Reserve.  Machaba trees, after which the camp is named, are numerous in the Delta and celebrated for their bountiful fruit, which sustains a diverse array of species, including elephants, baboons, bushbuck, and green pigeons.

 The Machaba tree is rightly regarded as the tree of life, and the camp is vibrant due to their presence, with game-viewing and bird-watching at Machaba Camp consistently providing an exhilarating experience with abundant sights at every turn.  Moreover, the open-air safari vehicles utilized during wildlife drives provide enthusiastic photographers with limitless opportunity to capture the ideal image.
