A secluded tented accommodation in the elevated regions of the Okavango

 Situated on a wooded island within a private concession in the upper Okavango Delta, Little Vumbura provides visitors with a secluded and intimate experience away from the mainstream.  The tented camp is encircled by profound, permanent rivers and ephemeral, shallow floodplains that converge with arid expanses of open grasslands and riparian woods, fostering a verdant habitat for species to congregate.

The region adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve is favored by sable antelope and buffalo, along with predatory felines such as leopards and lions.  Traverse the vast woodlands and floodplains in a 4×4 vehicle, vigilant for the elusive African wild dog.  Mokoro excursions provide an opportunity to encounter hippos, crocodiles, and several lesser-known aquatic species.

The en-suite Family Tent and five en-suite Standard Tents feature an attached room equipped with comfortable couches and a deck with stunning views.  The light-colored timber planks, circus-style canvas ceiling, and floor-to-ceiling mesh windows evoke a sense of openness and luminosity.  Elevated wooden pathways link the tents to the central zone, which has a bar, dining room, and pool area.
