Secluded island allure in the Okavango

Little Tubu features three traditionally designed en-suite tents, providing an authentic and intimate bush experience in the Okavango Delta, while maintaining comfort and elegance.  Located on Hunda Island, a wildlife refuge and the greatest expanse of perennially arid terrain in the region, visitors may anticipate diverse wildlife observation from both terrestrial and aquatic vantage points.

Renowned for its varied fauna and predator species, with exceptional leopard sightings, both diurnal and nocturnal game drives showcase Botswana’s biodiversity.  Simultaneously, the marshes and floodplains, navigable by mokoro or boat during favorable water levels, disclose species endemic to the Delta, including red lechwe, crocodiles, hippos, sitatunga, and avifauna such as Pel’s fishing owl.  For an exceptional bush experience, contemplate an overnight stay in the “star bed” at a nearby hide.

The camp’s tents are situated on elevated platforms and feature an en-suite bathroom with an outdoor shower, in addition to a private viewing deck.  Raised wooden paths traverse the woods to access the central area, which features a bar, dining, and pool facilities, all meticulously designed to harmonize with the surroundings and optimize the vistas.
