The Boteti River serves as a vital water source for the fauna of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, which congregate at its banks to hydrate.  Leroo La Tau resort, situated on cliffs 10 meters high in this unpredictable riparian setting, 140 km southeast of Maun, provides unparalleled vistas of the river and the Makgadikgadi Pans.
