A secluded observation site for the Great Migration
Lemala Mara Tented Camp is located near the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti from July to October. This region of the Serengeti is isolated yet hosts a substantial concentration of species. The population of animals significantly increases during the Great Migration, allowing guests to enjoy exceptional game viewing without large crowds.
The camp migrates seasonally between the North and South Serengeti, tracking the Great Migration. Lemala Mara is situated beneath Euclea trees in one of the premier game-viewing regions in the Serengeti. Predictably, game drives constitute the primary activity at the camp. For individuals seeking full-day excursions, picnic breakfasts and lunches can be arranged.
There are 12 en-suite tents available, each with two double beds. Triple tents are provided, accommodating a total of 26 beds. The tents are impervious to mosquitoes and are equipped with flush toilets, hot showers, and running water. The common tent comprises a lounge, dining area, and bar. Home-cooked meals are offered, and in the evening, visitors convene around the campfire to savor canapés and cocktails.
