This reserve is located within an hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth and less than four hours from Garden Route communities like Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, making it easily accessible for a self-drive in this malaria-free area.  The Big 5 safari they provide is commendable, with high-quality sightings during the twice-daily game drives, augmented by expert guides.  Birdwatchers will find excitement in the park overall, especially in their campsite among trees inhabited by the vibrant Knysna Loerie.

The five en-suite tents optimize the site with expansive windows and individual verandas that capture the view, while the open-air dining deck overlooks a waterhole frequented by elephants and resident nyalas.
