Kosi Forest Lodge : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
The most comfortable accommodation in Kosi Bay
Kosi Forest Lodge, the sole private lodge within the verdant Kosi Bay Nature Reserve, ensures that guests enjoy the finest aspects of both the woodland and wetland ecosystems of Maputaland, with 16 bush suites that harmoniously integrate with the adjacent sand-forest.
The St Lucia Wetlands, of which the reserve is a component, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and habitat for crocodiles, hippos, and various wetland fauna. The Kosi Bay Nature Reserve, spanning 11,000 hectares of marshes, swamp, and coastal forests, invites visitors to discover its beauty: embark on a canoe excursion or river cruise along the lakes and estuaries, or ride horseback through the reserve’s enchanting woodlands.
Upon returning to your suite, opulence awaits. The en-suite rooms are elevated on a wooden deck, providing a view of Kosi Lake beneath. The open-air bathrooms of the apartments are situated on white beach sand and enclosed by a reed boma, enabling relaxation beneath a canopy of trees.
