Kitela Lodge is situated at the summit of a valley, providing a view of the eastern side of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, the largest unblemished caldera located along the path to the Serengeti. The ambiance here is tranquil and delightful, overlooking a coffee farm and the valley underneath.
Guided excursions in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area are a prominent feature here. In the afternoon, choose for a guided tour of the farm to understand its operations, or accompany a Maasai herdsman through a neighboring village, exploring brickmakers and coffee farms en route.
