Located in the center of Katavi National Park, Katavi Wildlife Camp operates seasonally from June 1 until February, coinciding with the lushness of the floodplains.  Reflect on a past epoch characterized by traditional tents and a rich animal encounter.

Commence a sequence of wildlife drives across the forest accompanied by proficient guides and trackers from the local community.  If you choose to explore farther, you can enjoy a unique picnic lunch on “Paradise” plain, where a personal experience awaits you.  At the camp, be captivated by vibrant avian species, observe crocodiles, lions, and zebras, or opt to stargaze from the main deck of the camp.

Reside in one of six Meru-style tents, each including an en-suite bathroom and elevated on wooden platforms.  The camp lacks fencing; therefore, courteous guides accompany you to your lodging at night following meals or drinks.  Savor African cuisine outside or in the dining area, where the culinary crew also provides beverages at the on-site bar.
