Kasaka River Lodge : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
The fertile banks of the Zambezi River
Kasaka River Lodge is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, which flows along the boundary between northern Botswana and Zambia. This brief segment is the sole location where the river is bordered on both sides by two national parks: the Lower Zambezi National Park and the illustrious Mana Pools National Park.
The river attracts wildlife from adjacent reserves to its vital waters – elephants immerse themselves, while buffalo herds gather along the banks to drink. Game observation occurs in safari vehicles within the Lower Zambezi National Park or via boat along the river. Participate in a tug-of-war with the obstinate tiger fish or choose a tranquil paddling downstream.
Indulge your senses with an early dinner in the dining area among the tamarind trees, followed by a retreat to one of the 8 Classic Tents or the opulent Hippo Pod. The Classic Tents are divided, with one side bordered by meticulously maintained lawns and the other by wild, untamed foliage. The Wild Mango Honeymoon Suite features a four-poster bed and an open-air stone bath, whereas the Hippo Pod’s two bedrooms are suitable for families.
