Your safari commences at the Imbali resort.

Imbali Safari property, situated along the seasonal Nwaswitsontso River and concealed by Jackalberry and Tamboti trees, guarantees a safari experience without the necessity for visitors to go from the property.  The lodge’s grounds, located in a private concession of Kruger, were formerly the site of an African settlement centuries ago and have uncovered several artefacts and items utilized by its original inhabitants.  The sole residents now are you and the Big Five.

 In addition to the remarkable population of Kruger’s Big 5, it serves as a haven for avian enthusiasts, boasting over 500 bird species, along with a diverse array of reptiles, amphibians, carnivores, and plains game.  Allow the birdsong of the wilderness and the sounds of nature to serve as the auditory backdrop to your adventure.

 The primary lodge’s observation deck is interspersed with occasional trees rising pleasantly from beneath it, while its swimming pool, lounge, and alfresco eating area serve as ideal locations for relaxation.  Imbali’s 12 Suites include opulent en-suite bathrooms equipped with Victorian bathtubs and walk-in showers.  The French doors open to a private deck and plunge pool/Jacuzzi, with views of either the river or grassland, depending on the season.
