Situated on a 220-hectare vineyard named Matjieskuil near Stellenbosch in the picturesque Cape Winelands, Hawksmoor House is a meticulously renovated Cape Dutch country home exuding warmth, charm, and luxury.

Located about 25 minutes from Cape Town, one can explore the city’s attractions and subsequently retreat to the charm of the countryside, characterized by picturesque landscapes, a dog resting on the verandah, and the occasional hoot of an owl at night.  While Hawksmoor offers its own selection of wines to savor while admiring the golden late-afternoon vista from the sunset patio, the adjacent Winelands present a plethora of additional flavors and picturesque environments to explore.

The 15 Guest Rooms—located in The Manor House, The Slave Quarters, The Dairy Room, and Edge House, and organized around a central pool and decorative pond—provide enough opportunities for exploration, as each is uniquely adorned and furnished with select antiques.  The available categories include a Self-Catering Cottage and a Family Room, which may accommodate a child and an additional child under the age of 12.
