Flatdogs Camp is situated beside the Luangwa River in Zambia, amidst the elephants. Situated immediately adjacent to the Mfuwe main gate of the secluded South Luangwa National area, Flatdogs is the nearest camp to this entrance, offering convenient access and exceptional tours of this 900,000-hectare area.
The camp employs highly skilled South Luangwa guides to escort visitors on morning and evening drives, as well as walking safaris, from June to October. The park hosts over 100 mammal species, over 400 bird species, and 2,000 distinct plant species, supported by a high density of wildlife. Be vigilant for frequent elephant sightings, as well as lions, leopards, the distinctive Thornicroft’s giraffe, and blue wildebeests.
