Elephant Valley Lodge

Elephant Valley Lodge : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information

Inhabited by wandering elephants

A herd of elephants traverses the established route from Zimbabwe’s miombo woods to the Chobe region, halting at the riverbank, and on into parched Namibia before returning once more.  Elephant Valley Lodge is situated along this road, within the Kasane Forest and next to Chobe National Park.

The Chobe region hosts the biggest contiguous surviving elephant population globally.  Observe these majestic creatures in their natural environment, ambling about and joyfully expelling water from their trunks.  Conventional morning and evening game drives traverse Chobe National Park, whilst a boat tour along the Chobe River unveils its riparian fauna.  Enjoy a sundowner as the nocturnal animals prepare to emerge and approach the waterhole.

The lodge comprises 20 Meru-style tents, located beneath the canopy of a robust acacia grove.  Each tent is equipped with an en-suite shower, two beds, and a mini-safe.  The primary lodge features a cozy lounge, bar area, and dining room equipped with both indoor and outdoor seating.  The swimming pool serves as a refreshing refuge from the sweltering days.
