The Moru Kopjes of the Central Serengeti emerge from the adjacent grassland like a granite oasis, attracting members of the big cat family.  Lions and leopards are often observed examining the game-rich terrain below, while the Seronera River hosts significant populations of impala, guaranteeing that lions, leopards, and cheetahs are seldom distant.
