The five Meru-style tents at Chobe Under Canvas are dispersed throughout a quiet region of Botswana’s wildlife-abundant Chobe National Park.  wildlife-filled paths wind through the Tents, enabling guests to have intimate interactions with herds of elephants, predatory animals, and modest plains wildlife.  Encounter the rustic allure of camping merged with the convenience of a reputable lodge.

Traverse in specially customized safari vehicles on morning and afternoon game drives to locate resident wildlife.  Boat tours on the Chobe River offer unobstructed vistas of the floodplains and woodlands, along with a plethora of avian species inhabiting its shores, ranging from the chestnut-feathered goliath heron to the slim white-fronted bee-eater.  A memorable photographic safari on the Chobe River with Pangolin Photo Safaris is offered to clients who reserve a minimum of two consecutive nights.

The walk-in Safari Tents feature en-suite facilities equipped with an outdoor hot bucket shower and a flush toilet.  The roomy tents, adorned with either twin or double beds and sisal matting floors, provide a peaceful refuge following a day of arduous safari expeditions.  A marquee-style tent with open sides functions as a social space for lantern-lit dining.
