Habitat of the uncommon puku antelope

Chobe Savanna Lodge is located on the northern side of the Chobe River, within the Caprivi Strip, providing a view of the floodplains of the Chobe National Park’s Puku Flats.  This region is characterized by the presence of substantial populations of elephants and buffalo that migrate to the river for hydration.  Hippopotamus pods dominate the waters, while the elusive puku antelope cautiously approach the banks to graze.

Board one of the agile vessels for intimate wildlife observations along the riverbank.  Accompany your experienced guide on a walking safari, traversing the forest in pursuit of smaller wildlife.  Canoe excursions descend to the adjacent traditional hamlet, where visitors can observe tribal African life.  Birdwatchers will express their enthusiasm for the diverse bird species residing in the region.

The lodge hosts a maximum of 24 guests in Thatched Chalets, each featuring an own viewing balcony and en-suite bathroom.  The chalets, adorned in a modern African motif, guarantee seclusion and luxury.  The primary structure offers a 270-degree vista of the river and adjacent park, with a lounge, library, dining area, and game-viewing bar.
