Luxurious safari experience adjacent to the Luangwa River
Situated adjacent to the Luangwa River and overlooking three watering holes, Bilimungwe Bushcamp embodies a fusion of traditional bushcamp allure and contemporary sophistication. Located in one of Zambia’s most picturesque wildlife reserves, South Luangwa National Park, visitors can spend their days on relaxed safaris and return to the luxurious luxury of the lodge at day’s end.
The park’s enormous miombo trees sharply contrast with its savannah grasslands, traversed by the vital Luangwa River. The park is home to a multitude of animals, including four of the Big Five. An international airport is located near the primary settlement of the park, Mfuwe, ensuring convenient access.
The camp features four elevated thatched rooms decorated with handmade furniture and African materials. Open-air showers enable guests to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings, while the private terrace serves as a vantage point for wildlife observation. Two rooms contain twin beds, and the remaining two feature king-size beds. Guests may partake in morning and evening game drives, facilitating the observation of diverse species, in addition to engaging in intimate walking safaris.
