Observe the elephants of Chobe
Situated in the Chobe, sometimes designated as the elephant capital of the world, Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge is located on the historical banks of the transient Savute Channel. This camp provides an exceptional aerial perspective of elephants in their natural environment, with a nearby waterhole located within meters from the camp’s main structure.
The Savute Channel’s terrain and fauna are perpetually shaped by the seasonal transitions, with each forthcoming season invigorating the adjacent wildness. The adjacent Gubatsa Hills serve as a sanctuary for leopards and klipspringers, in addition to housing exceptional rock paintings.
12 Luxury Tents are situated on elevated wooden platforms, providing excellent vistas and are sheltered by a traditional African thatched roof. Each unit features an en-suite bathroom and a spacious private deck, equipped with comfortable seats and a hammock—perfect for animal observation or a romantic dinner. Each tent is equipped with air-conditioning, mosquito netting, and a fully supplied mini-bar. Partake in a complimentary breakfast at the on-site restaurant or savor a beverage in the bar.
