Antique Farmhouse Elegance in Elandsberg
Seeking tranquility and seclusion? Although Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse exhibits a distinct vibrancy, it is of a unique nature. Situated on an active farm within the 10,000ha Elandsberg Nature Reserve, visitors can reside in a refurbished Victorian homestead and engage in exploration of the nearby attractions during the day.
Engage in the pursuit of observing wildlife that inhabits the reserve on bi-daily game drives; navigate the farm’s dam using a canoe or windsurfing board, and potentially refine your skills in archery – a recent favorite on the farm. The towns of Riebeek-Kasteel, Tulbagh, and Wellington are conveniently accessible by car, along with several wine estates.
Guests may select from one of the homestead’s four Double Rooms, each including en-suite bathrooms, or opt for the self-catering Wild Olive House, ideal for families and friends. The complete farmhouse is available for rental for larger gatherings upon request. The on-site chef, Louise, prepares a diverse array of gourmet and farm-fresh dishes.
