Busanga Bush Camp : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
Your jungle camp situated on the Busanga Plains
Located in Zambia’s largest reserve, which is among the largest in Africa, Busanga Bush Camp provides an intimate experience in excellent Kafue wildlife viewing zone. Named after the Busanga Plains, the camp serves as an excellent base for exploring this grassy expanse of floodplains and channels, which is more akin to the Serengeti than to Zambia’s typical bush landscape.
The location is a perennial wildlife destination, drawing plains species such as lechwe, puku, roan, and oribi, and is renowned for its lion observation, despite fluctuations in water levels. This is Zambia’s premier site for cheetah and one of the foremost locations for wild dog. Approximately 500 avian species complement this attractive offering, experienced on daytime and nocturnal game drives. Mokoro trips (subject to water levels), guided bush hikes, and balloon safaris may also be offered.
The camp consists of only four en-suite tents featuring verandahs and abundant rustic charm. The east-facing primary area, featuring a lounge and bar, provides an exceptional view of the sunrise, especially during the dry season, while meals are generally savored outdoors beneath an enchanting lantern chandelier.
