Camp Linyanti : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
Tented encampment in the Linyanti Wetlands
Situated in the northernmost region of Chobe National Park, Camp Linyanti possesses a secluded wetland wildness within an otherwise arid terrain. The periphery of the abundant Linyanti floodplains—one of the premier game-viewing regions in Botswana—features the rustic yet comfortable tents of the camp.
The camp offers breathtaking vistas of the floodplains extending towards Namibia’s Caprivi Strip. Throughout much of the year, the floodplain rivers can be navigated by safari and sundowner trips in a 6-meter swamp cruiser. Nonetheless, bi-daily game drives offer an exceptional opportunity to investigate the region, particularly during the arid winter season when substantial herds of elephants traverse the terrain. The region is teeming with predators, along with buffalo and zebra.
The quaint and appealing camp consists of merely five elevated Meru-style tents, accommodating a total of ten guests. Every tent is equipped with an outdoor shower and a private balcony overlooking the floodplains. The Honeymoon Tent includes all the facilities of the other tents, enhanced with a romantic atmosphere.
