The Gondwana Canyon Park is a private reserve situated near the eastern boundary of the Fish River Canyon conservation area.  The historic Canyon Lodge, renovated and constructed around an early 20th-century farmhouse, is one of four accommodations within the park.

Embark on a guided excursion to the Fish River Canyon and marvel at the chasms formed by violent geological processes across millennia.  Additional activities encompass picturesque flights over the canyon, 4×4 trails across the plains, equestrian and hiking trails, sunset excursions, and appreciating the sunrise within the quiver tree forests.  The splendor resides in the landscape and historical significance of the region, as well as in the tranquility of your environment.

The lodge comprises several natural stone chalets constructed from and integrated into the surrounding granite formations, providing extensive vistas of the untamed Gondwana Canyon Park.  The farmhouse features a vibrant bar, expansive pool, shaded verandah, and a restaurant, all with views of the plains leading to the Fish River Canyon.  Locally sourced vegetables from a local smallholding guarantees authentic farm-style meals to please substantial appetites.
