Your rosewood-hued retreat in Hwange

Guests at Davison’s Camp, a traditional tented camp nestled among African rosewoods, can enjoy views of an open plain in the Linkwasha Concession of Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park.  Spanning an extensive 14,600 km², Hwange presents varied landscapes and plentiful opportunities for wildlife observation, while Davison’s beckons visitors to one of its most biodiverse regions.

Renowned for its extensive herds of elephants and buffalo, significant populations of giraffes, and a robust lion presence, Hwange boasts over 100 animal species for visitors to discover.  This figure encompasses all of Zimbabwe’s safeguarded fauna.  Even on a tranquil day, the 400 avian species inhabiting the skies and vegetation guarantee that there is perpetually something to observe.

Safari activities comprise morning and evening wildlife drives in open 4×4 vehicles, as well as guided hikes.  Guests can observe the renowned waterhole viewable from the camp in the meantime.  The camp comprises eight regular tents and one family unit, all including private verandahs for pleasant lodging.  The primary space features a lounge and eating area that extends to a spacious pine deck and a welcoming open campfire, along with the availability of a swimming pool.
