Sustainable lodge adjacent to Chobe National Park

Duma Tau, translating to “roar of the lion,” is an exclusive, luxury tented camp located within the private Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to the western frontier of Botswana’s Chobe National Park.  The camp is situated at the origin of the Savuti Channel, where riparian forests border permanent streams and extensive mopane woodlands extend southward, creating a corridor for diverse animals.

Navigate the Linyanti River via boat or barge, lounging on cushions while enjoying a sundowner.  Extensive herds of elephants regularly visit the canals, lagoons, and waterholes distributed along the channel.  The conclusion of the arid season witnesses sable and roan antelope inhabiting the woodlands, while the felines hunt lechwe and tsessebe antelope.  Avian life is plentiful and varied, with significant populations of raptors dominating the skies.

The seven guest suites and one family suite are elevated to maximize the lagoon vistas.  Each expansive suite includes a private plunge pool and a pleasant seating space, along with a sizable bathroom equipped with both indoor and outdoor showers.  The lodge, situated inside a grove of mangosteen trees, is entirely solar-powered and constructed from sustainable timber.
