Explore the Enchanting Elephant House

Located just minutes from the renowned Addo Elephant National Park, Elephant House serves as the perfect hub for exploring the Park and its vicinity.  Surrounded by verdant grass and native trees, the lodge serves as a tranquil sanctuary following a day exploring the African bush.

Bi-daily excursions in open-air vehicles highlight the premier wildlife of Addo, encompassing the Big 5.  Horseback safaris provide guests with an immersive experience in the bush, whereas “Walk with the Elephants” allows visitors to stroll alongside these gentle giants in their natural habitat.  A canoe excursion on the Sundays River unveils an abundance of avian species along its banks, including the kingfisher, goliath heron, and African fish eagle.

All eight Luxury Rooms, including one Family Suite, include access to a thatched-roof verandah.  All rooms feature air conditioning, extra-long king-size beds, and 24-hour room service.  Dinner, featuring country food paired with Cape wines, is signaled by an African gong and presented with silver and crystal. The adjacent “Club Room” will occupy children while parents enjoy sundowners by the pool.
