Jock Safari Lodge embodies the romanticism and sophistication of a past epoch while showcasing the distinctive styles of the indigenous Zulu and Shangaan cultures.  Jock Safari Lodge was the inaugural private lodge to receive a concession within Kruger National Park.  Jock’s provides numerous opportunities to experience the adjacent African environment, including morning and evening game drives, walking safaris, bird-watching, and frogging safaris.

Engage in golf at the adjacent driving range or embark on a cultural excursion to the historical site of Pilgrim’s Rest, a former mining village in proximity.  Return to the hotel, relax by the pool, and immerse yourself in the sounds of nature from the lodge’s deck.  Children are provided with a program of activities customized to their energy levels and interests.

Each room in the lodge is named after significant locations in the narrative of “Jock of the Bushveld” and features a private sala (thatched observation deck), plunge pool, Victorian ball-and-claw bathtub, dual vanities, and an outdoor shower.  The suites are comprehensively furnished with five-star amenities, including air conditioning, fans, tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar, and a safe.  The head chef and dedicated crew create dishes of remarkable quality, enabling your palate to embark on an African voyage.
