A personal safari expedition

Mara Expedition Camp, situated in the Mara North Conservancy of Kenya and adjacent to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, is the sister camp of Mara Plains.  The exclusive and secluded camp is situated in a renowned game viewing region famous for leopard sightings.  The annual migrations of wildebeests and zebras traverse the camp.

Experience remarkable game drives and investigate the terrain and wildlife of the Mara North Conservancy and the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.  The camp’s vehicles feature open sides, rendering them ideal for capturing photographs of the surroundings.  Guests may also rent professional photography equipment to capitalize on photographic opportunities, partake in optional balloon safaris, and engage with local communities.

The camp offers five en-suite canvas tents situated beneath a riverine woodland.  During intervals of game observation, unwind in the primary tent, savor exquisite cuisine prepared by the camp’s cooks, and engage in conversations around the fire pit.  Mara Toro operates without fixed schedules or designated meal times; arrangements are tailored to the wildlife and individual safari aspirations.
