Oddballs Camp : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
An enhanced involvement with the Okavango Delta
At Oddballs Camp, the floodplains of the Okavango Delta are more accessible than ever, with each pair of visitors allocated a personal guide, who is a native of the swamp, providing intriguing insights into the intricate ecosystem and local culture.
Upon arrival via light aircraft at the camp located on the periphery of Chief’s Island in the Delta’s core, guests will be greeted by their guide. Embark on foot during the dry season and using a mokoro during the rainy season to navigate canals bordered by reeds that access the Moremi Game Reserve. When water levels are sufficiently elevated, guests may go on a mokoro excursion to the remote areas of the Delta to camp under the stars. Engage with residents at the cultural villages in the region, whose presence dates back to the 1700s.
The camp is constructed to minimize environmental impact, utilizing solar electricity extensively. The al fresco en suite tents are constructed on elevated platforms, while the central bar and lounge include high observation decks that overlook the Delta. Two family suites are offered for larger parties. Enjoy a comprehensive experience with exquisite meals provided in the on-site dining area.
