Umkumbe Safari Lodge is situated in the core of the Kruger National Park’s most distinguished private reserve, Sabi Sand.  Situated along the banks of the ephemeral Sand River, it provides guests with excellent vistas in a region frequented by many wildlife.

 Umkumbe features four Superior Chalets and six Standard Chalets.  The Standard Chalets feature en-suite facilities with an indoor shower, while the Superior Chalets provide the additional advantages of both an indoor bath and an outdoor shower.  Each chalet is equipped with air conditioning and features private stone verandas with seats.  Experience exquisite cuisine meticulously prepared on-site and served in the traditional boma.
